Making a Reservation

Read through the following information provided for your understanding of the process of making a reservation on this web site. Although it might look complicated, it’s not – it’s all the step-by-step details for what is a fairly straight forward process.

 

To Start

Read through and understand the document Terms and Conditions as it outlines the reservation agreement and the rights and responsibilities of all affected parties. You will be required to sign a copy of this agreement when you arrive at your chosen vacation property.

Browse through the vacation properties available (see “Properties” from the top menu) and select your first and alternate choices.

If you have any questions about a Vacation Property, the Reservation Process or the Terms and Conditions, please contact us via our email contact form and we will either respond by email or phone call as deemed appropriate.

If you feel you have all the information that you need, open the page of the Property of your choice, scroll to the bottom of the page and select the “To View Property Calendar and/or Make a Booking” button to start your reservation. This takes you directly to our Booking Engine to the listing page for the property that you have selected. Go to “Congratulations, you’ve found an Available Property” below for your next steps in the process. Please note, you can opt out of the booking process at any time up to the step where you “Submit your Reservation”.

 

Good to Go? Let’s Begin …

You can also begin in our Booking Engine (Click to open in a separate window), if so, the first step is to select and open the “View Properties” page. To see what properties are available for your vacation dates, use the “Availability Search Bar” located at the top of every page. Enter your date of Arrival and Departure, how many persons in your party under “Sleeps” and how many bedrooms you’d prefer.

After entering your information, click on “Search” and the properties that are available and match your requirements will be displayed below. All property calendars are updated in real time – what properties are shown are guaranteed to be available. If no properties match your vacation period or your requirements, please select a different time period and/or adjust your requirements.

 

Congratulations, you’ve found an Available Property

If your chosen Property is available during your vacation period, open it’s listing page by clicking on the property image, there you will find that each property has it’s real time calendar, descriptions, photos and rates displayed. At the top of the page, when you are ready to make a booking or to get a quote, choose the “Book On Line Now” button and follow the steps, starting with your arrival and departure dates, then click “Next”.

The reservation system will check to see if your dates are valid against the property calendar, calculate your costs for the reservation and present this to you, including the reservation deposit amounts and due date for the balance. You have the option at this point of emailing a quote to yourself for comparison purposes. If all is well, click on “Next”.

The next screen outlines optional services and their costs that are available for the vacation property of your choice. Services such as daily maid services, car rentals and other concierge services may be available. Choose any options that you’d like to add and select “Next”.

The next screen presents the “Term and Conditions” that you have already read (you did read them, didn’t you?), check the box to indicate that you have read, understand and agree to the Terms and Conditions and select “Next”.

In the next screen, please fill in your basic details, in full, so that we can contact you if there are any problems with your reservation. Then click “Next”.

List all the members of your party and their ages that will be staying with you at your reserved vacation property. Once you have completed this, click “Next”.

The last page summarizes your reservation details, please review them carefully. When all details are correct and to your satisfaction, please select “Submit Reservation”.

Please Note:

This will take you to our secure payment Paypal page. You can use your Visa, MasterCard or American Express without a PayPal account. If you have a PayPal account, you can pay directly from your PayPal account balance or from your attached bank account or credit card. You will need to enter all the required information, just as for any on line credit card transaction.

If you are making the reservation more than 60 days prior to your Arrival Date, you will be asked to pay a deposit equalling the cost of one night stay at your chosen property, if so, beginning 60 days prior to arrival you will receive daily reminder emails to pay the balance due. You have 14 days to pay the balance or your booking will be deemed abandoned. If you are making the reservation within 60 days to your Arrival Date, you will be asked to pay the full amount due for the reservation. In all cases, all payments towards your reservation are non-refundable – we recommend that you purchase travel and medical insurance to cover any possible disruption of your travel plans. Once complete, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation as well as other documents relating to your vacation accommodations.
